Daniel Watkins is a Newcastle native who moved to Melbourne to pursue a professional career in bluegrass. Dan’s band Big Bug Trio recently supported Peter Rowan on his 2012 Australian Tour at the Brunswick Festival, and he’s a common face at many festivals all over Australia.
